Andrea stated her background has primarily been in the military and emergency services, where she has a combined experience of over 34 years working within these services and experiencing and seeing first-hand, the impact trauma can have on a person.
I also have 18 years of experience and training working with sexual and domestic trauma and over 16 years of experience working with families, adults, and children who have been bereaved by natural causes, illness, traffic accidents, suicide, and murder.
I believe I am a very good listener and will work alongside my clients to assist them to feel better, happier and help them move forward with what they are struggling with in life. Be that anxiety, depression or stress, or grief, sexual abuse, or other traumas.
I work as an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor, a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, and a Life Coach.
I work with children, young people, adults, and couples, in a private and confidential safe space, for clients to explore whatever they wish to bring to the therapy room.
I am trained in sexual & domestic abuse and have extensive knowledge and experience in anxiety, bereavement, and loss, sexual assault & trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, PTSD, OCD, stress, self-harm, and suicidal Ideation, and working with children & young people.
