Colin Neve

Colin has over 33 years of military and emergency services experience, and he is very aware, from personal experience that a uniform is no barrier to poor mental health.

Colin says "As someone may be seen as macho and alpha male. , I have personally experienced challenging anxiety-driven low times, and, met many people in the uniformed services who have suffered from everything to depression, low self-esteem, and addiction issues, and therefore a realization that a uniform is no barrier or protection to mental health challenges and illnesses."

I take a solution-based approach to my work and see myself more as a Therapeutic Coach, and have lots of experience in workplace stress and wellbeing. I have a natural emphatic style and like to encourage clients that sometimes the best solution to poor or challenging mental health is to focus and fill life space with a positive forward-thinking approach and embrace positive experiences.

I also have a great interest and training in life coaching and taking positive action in our lives can be the biggest weapon, in helping us take back control is coupled with the acceptance that to move forward in life, sometimes we have to ensure that the past is safely packed away and understood.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in Trauma Risk Management. Colin is specialized in Anxiety, Depression, Trauma & PTSD, Men’s issues & Suicide, and Life Coaching
