

Yasmin started her passion is to support both adults and children to reach their full potential taking into account their individual needs and their ethnic and cultural backgrounds, she feels this can be done both holistically and therapeutically.
I utilise my ability to speak English, Punjabi and Urdu to enable everyone to access mental health and counselling support.
I have extensive experience and knowledge working with children for example when I worked for Action for Children and Place2Be counsellor, I was responsible for creating a therapeutic environment, offering play therapy to children who had mental health-emotional/behavioural difficulties.
Within my role as an Infant Mental Health worker, I worked with families to enhance parent-child relationships experiencing behavioural/mental health difficulties, based in the community in Blackburn. I offered advice, training, consultation, specialist support and joint work to colleagues in all relevant agencies.
I am also able to offer any other professionals in the healthcare or education system supervision to help enhance the service they offer through their particular organisations.
